ECLIPSE LUNA ROJA - BLOOD MOON ECLIPSE

Como se habrán podido dar cuenta en un par de post anteriores ¡soy amente de la luna! Así que no podía perderme el último eclipse total de super luna y luna roja del 27 de septiembre 2015, el próximo será en el 2033.
Este eclipse lunar ocurre cuando la Luna pasa dentro de la sombra de la Tierra. Primero la Luna se oscureció ligeramente bajo la sombra de la Tierra, luego la sombra comienza en la parte "cubierta" de la Luna dándole un color rojo-marrón oscuro así que la Luna parece ser de color rojizo o anaranjado.
El nombre "luna de Sangre" no se identifica como un término astronómico oficial; proviene de los cazadores que perseguían y mataban a sus presas bajo la luz de la luna de otoño.

Tengo la suerte de vivir en el Caribe y poder ver el eclipse completo de principio a fin y no puedo estar más feliz. Me senté en mi balcón con cámara en mano y a pesar de que justo cuando se puso naranja se le agotaron las baterías a mi cámara pude tomarle por lo menos una foto. Aquí les comparto algunas.

As you can see in a couple of previous posts I am seriously a moonlover! So I couldn't miss the super blood moon total eclipse on September 27, 2015, the next one will be in 2033.
This lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes into Earth's shadow. First the moon darkened slightly under the shadow of the Earth, then the shadow begins in the "cover" area of the Moon giving it that dark red-brown color and the moon looks reddish or orange.

The name "Blood Moon" is not identified as an official astronomical term; it comes from hunters chasing and killing their prey under the light of the autumn moon.
I am lucky to live in the Caribbean so I could see the full eclipse from beginning to end and I couldn't be happier. I sat on my balcony with my camera in hand, although just when the moon got orange my batteries died but I could take at least one photo. Here I'm sharing some of them.
