7 Design Trends You Should Remember This Year

Hola! Sé que estamos prácticamente en la mitad del año, pero
quiero hablarles un poco de algunas de las tendencias para el diseño de
interiores de este 2017. Siete tendencias que definitivamente deben considerar
si están decorando su hogar, incluso si sólo están soñando despiertos con él,
pero tengan en cuenta que las tendencias son una guía y no una regla, crear un
diseño moderno atemporal y sostenible es el camino a seguir.

1.Texturas y acabados de pared
Las paredes ahora están cubiertas de
texturas, más interés en las terminaciones de pared incluso el uso de los
paneles texturados, madera y tela, también el papel tapiz puede ser una pieza
maravillosa y lujosa de textura. Azulejos retro también son una enorme
tendencia en las paredes este año (Me encantan los azulejos así que amo esta
tendencia). También las texturas naturales
como madera o bambú están súper “in”.

2.Colores
Vamos a ver un montón de melocotón, lavanda y rosado rubor
mezclado con tonos más profundos, salpicaduras de colores oscuros que han hecho
un regreso masivo como borgoña, gris oscuro, y verde esmeralda, paredes de
color azul índigo y tonos joya. Esta tendencia incluirá algunos detalles en
“rose gold” también.

Detalles en colores brillantes, acentos verdes, las fotografías
con temas extravagantes y motivos románticos está haciendo una reaparición
importante. Las lámparas son el centro de atención. Traten de elegir algo que
se ajuste a su estilo personal. Algunas como las de base de cristal o tal vez
las de bombillas Edison expuestas de estilo industrial o alguna con detalles de
metal amartillado. Muy de moda también los accesorios de textura natural.

4.Desierto elegante
Este estilo es divertido y fácil para todos, traer la naturaleza
en el hogar es la clave, las plantas como cactus de gran tamaño, palma del
desierto y las suculentas son el camino a seguir. El tema es usar los tonos tierra,
terracota, rosados cálidos, azules desgastados y el óxido funcionan bien habitaciones pintadas de blanco y con buena
iluminación.

5.Terciopelo
Ahora pueden obtener el lujo que desean usando tapicería de
terciopelo. Se pueden agregar cojines y almohadones suaves o un sofá tapizado,
esta tela lujosa se restablece con acentos modernos en cortinas tintadas. Hay
algo romántico en él ¿no creen?

6.El Estilo Nórdico de lujo
Es una continuación de líneas simples y limpias pero añadiendo
materiales más lujosos con materia prima de alta calidad. Líneas minimalistas,
espacios limpios, nuevamente el uso de materiales naturales, vidrio ahumado y cobre.

7.Azulejos
Añaden belleza y estilo a cualquier habitación del hogar, azulejos
de piso o de pared elemento que combina estilo y practicidad. Los azulejos son
una manera fácil de lograr un aspecto de lujo y son fáciles de limpiar. Pueden
utilizar patrones y geométricos y crear paredes o pisos impresionantes. Con creatividad
usando las baldosas sobrantes pueden arreglar muebles viejos o tal vez enmarcar un
espejo, o usar azulejos en el tope de una mesa para transformarla.
Creo que los materiales naturales y las piezas artesanales que son
como tesoros le añaden ese toque extra a
los espacios y esta tendencia está aquí para quedarse, junto con la idea de que
menos realmente es más, porque la gente busca ahora cosas que se
hayan hecho de una forma cuidadosa y sostenible con materiales y procesos
naturales, la demanda de elementos creados y hechos a mano continuará
creciendo.

wanted to remind you of some of the interior design trends this year. I will
outline seven trends that you should definitely embrace if you’re decorating
your home or even if you are just daydreaming about it (but be aware, use trends

The Feature Wall is all about texture these days. There’s more interest on wall finishes and even the use of textural panels, wood and fabric. Your wallpaper should be a luxurious piece of texture and reto tiles are also huge on walls this year (which I absolutely love by the way!). Natural texture is also desireable; seek wood or bamboo in this case.

2.Colours
We will see lots of peach, lavender and blush pink mixed with deeper shades; splashes of dark and moody paint colors have made a massive comeback (i.e. Burgundy, dark grey, emerald green, indigo blue wall and jewel tones). This trend includes some rose gold too.

3.Accessorizing
Accessorizing involves an emphasis on bright colors, green accents and fantasy-like art with extravagant staging. Statement lamps are the center of attention. Try to pick something that appeals to your personal style. Some great ideas involve glass bases, industrial style exposed Edison bulbs, or hammered metal details. Natural texture accessories are also sought after.

This is fun and easy for everyone and bringing nature into the home is the key. Plants such as super-sized cacti, desert palm, and succulents are the way to go. The theme for earthy tones such as terracotta, warm pinks, dusty blues and rust work well with light and white painted rooms.

I think natural material and
handcrafted pieces are to be treasured and really add that extra touch to your
space. This trend is here to stay, along with the idea that less really is
more, and as people seek out things that have been made in a careful, sustainable
way by using natural processes and materials, the
demand for maker-made home-ware will continue to grow.
