Macreme Wall Hanging - Macremé Colgante de Pared

¡Hola! Como ya se habrán podido dar cuenta ¡el macramé está de vuelta! Y por supuesto quise apropiarme de esta tendencia. Mi mamá me hizo tomar clases de macramé cuando era adolescente y nunca me imaginé que eso iba a estar de moda de nuevo, obviamente cómo ustedes comprenderán yo no me acordaba de nada, ni un solo nudo recordaba así que fui a San Google y Youtube y me puse a recordar algunos y pronto ya estaba haciendo nudos con fluidez otra vez.
Por eso decidí compartirles este “DIY” usando nudos de macramé y tela de algodón (estoy tratando de ser más eco-friendly) El resultado fue este bello colgante de pared que pueden usar cómo fondo para una fiesta estilo bohemio, o una boda boho chic, o simplemente para colgar en sus hogares.
Necesitarán:
Un pasador de madera
Tela de algodón del color que prefieran
Tijeras
Cuentas redondas de madera
Instrucciones:
- Corta la tela en tiras de una pulgada de ancho tan largas como las necesites recordando que tan pronto como empiecen a hacer nudos a las tiras la tela se irá recogiendo y el proyecto al final será más corto.
Dobla las tiras en dos y amarrarlas alrededor del pasador de madera, repetir esto con cada una de las tiras.
- Hacer una fila de nudos cuadrados justo debajo. Este nudo puede ser más complicado, pero después de hacerlo dos veces o tres verán lo fácil que es.
Comenzar con cuatro tiras de tela. Pasar la tira derecha por encima y hacia la izquierda para tirar de las tiras de anclaje. Colocar la tira izquierda sobre la tira derecha, pase la tira izquierda debajo de los anclajes y a través del bucle formado por la tira derecha. Tirar para apretar y tendrán su nudo cuadrado.
- Agregar una segunda fila de nudos dobles cuadrados comenzando dos tiras desde el borde para crear más de un patrón.
- Luego usado las mismas tiras de los primeros nudos cuadrados hacer medio nudo, el medio nudo es trabajado con cuatro tiras. Las dos tiras exteriores son las tiras de anudado y las dos tiras intermedias son las tiras de nudo.
Llevar la tira izquierda hacia la derecha sobre las dos tiras que llevan nudos y debajo de la tira anudadora derecha. Coloque el cordón de anudado derecho a la izquierda debajo de las dos tiras que llevan nudos y sobre la tira anudadora izquierda, tire para asegurar el medio nudo. A medida que trabajemos la línea de medios nudos comenzará a girar en espiral de forma natural.
- Repetí este medio nudo con las tiras internas en una segunda ronda de nudos e hice nudos básicos en las tiras exteriores.
- Terminé con los cuentas redondos de madera y anudé los extremos de las tiras, corté lo que quedaba de las tiras de algodón y ¡voilá!

Macrame is back, And I had to make this trend mine. My mom made me take macramé classes when I was a teenager and who would have thought that it was gonna be a trend today. You should know that I didn´t remember any of the knots so I went to my friends google and youtube looking for help and started practicing.
That’s why I decided to share with you this Decor DIY using macramé knots and cotton fabric. The result is this beautiful wall hanging that would be perfect to use as a backdrop at a boho party or maybe as a boho chic wedding decor or just to hang in your home.
You will need:
Wooden Dowel
Cotton fabric
Scissors
Round Wood Beads
Instructions:
- Cut a thin strip of fabric 1 inch wide and as long as you need it. Remember that knotting the fabric makes the final Project much shorter.
Fold the strips in half and knot it around the wooden dowel. Repeat with each strip of fabric.
- Make a row of square knots then right underneath, Here’s a more complicated knot for you but after doing it two or three times you will see how easy it is.
Start with four strips of fabric. Bring the right strip over and to the left tow anchor strips. Place the left strip over the right strip, being the left strip under the anchors and through the loop formed by the right strip. Pull and you have your square knot.
- I added a second row of double-square knots starting two strips in from the edge to create more of a pattern.
- Then I use the same first strips and made half knots, the half knot worked with four strips. The two outer strips are the knotting strips and the two middle strips are the knot-bearing strips.
Bring the left strip to the right over the two knot-bearing strips and underneath the right knotting strip. Bring the right knotting cord to the left under the two knot-bearing strips and over the left knotting strip, pull to secure the half knot. As you work a sennit of half knots they will begin to naturally spiral.
- I repeated this knot with the inner strips in the second round of knots and made basic knots on the outside strips.
- I finished with the round Wood beads and knot the ends of the strips, cut what was left of the cotton strips and voilà!
